Jim Marcovitch

London's best Klezmer band, co-founded and led by Jim

Jim's other band, purveyors of darkly satirical songs

Jim Marcovitch was an accordionist, composer, puppeteer, actor, writer and general creative maverick, who died in 2008, aged 34. This website exists to showcase his work, and also to provide links to all the kinds of strange and wonderful stuff from the worlds of music, theatre, film and comedy that he would have approved of. I would like this site to be as interactive as possible, so if you have any comments about it, have any anecdotes about Jim (there are many out there!), or you want to suggest anything I can add links to, please go to the comments page and leave a message there or email me directly.

'Soup and a Side Salad', a play Jim wrote shortly before he died, adapted for radio
